IDST Modinagar is a renowned institute that offers quality dental education and training to aspiring dentists. The college not only focuses on providing education to its students but also emphasizes the importance of community service and outreach programs.
IDST Modinagar has been working towards empowering community oral health in continuation with its mission to meet the oral health care needs of underprivileged population. The institute regularly conducts dental screening camps with emphasis on oral health care, identification of precancerous conditions and has been the forerunner in tobacco cessation activities in its adopted villages i.e. Village Nahli, Dindhala, Gejha, Goon, Ikla, Solana, Sisola, Muradabad, Talheta and Rori. The outreach activities are aimed at providing free dental check-ups and treatment to people who are unable to afford dental care and enhancing accessibility to oral health care needs through regular transportation services.
The institute fulfills community social responsibility through adoption of villages, schools and old age homes where regular oral health care programmes are conducted. The efforts of IDST Modinagar have helped in not only providing treatment to those who cannot afford it but have also created awareness about dental health in the community. The college continues to organize such camps every year as a part of its social responsibility and commitment to serving the community.
