Before entering live clinical practice, students refine their foundational skills in our state-of-the-art phantom head laboratory and simulation centre, enabling a smooth and confident transition to patient care.

A major highlight of our institution is the Anatomage Table, a truly one-of-a-kind learning platform and the most advanced real-human-based 3D anatomy and medical education system. This remarkable technology offers digitized human cadavers, superior medical learning tools, and highly realistic 3D anatomical experiences. By integrating the Anatomage Table into our teaching ecosystem, IDST enriches conceptual understanding, enhances learning outcomes, and reaffirms its position as a technologically progressive institution.

Equally significant is our Dedicated CAD-CAM Laboratory, which provides students with direct exposure to the evolving world of digital dentistry. From virtual treatment planning and digital design to fabrication workflows, the lab equips learners with practical experience in modern dental technologies that are shaping the future of clinical practice.

A recent example of our commitment to innovation and academic leadership was the successful hosting of “Aligners A2Z – Demystifying 3D Printing & Aligner Fabrication,” a national workshop endorsed by the Indian Orthodontic Society. The program brought together 100 participants from across India, representing both government and private institutions. With its strong focus on complete digital workflow, contemporary orthodontic applications, and extensive hands-on training, the workshop was widely appreciated and stands as a proud milestone in IDST’s academic journey.
