Thermoforming Technology using biostar and minister

Under the aegis of honorable Secretary DMET,Dr.Vikram Gandhi and able guidance of Dr.Shalu  Rai, Principal IDST, it is with immense joy to share the successful completion of workshop cum hands-on organized on Thermoforming Technology using biostar and ministarby Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial orthopaedics.The program was conducted in association with Libral Traders at IDST under the able leadership of Dr.Achint Juneja, Professor & Head of Department of Orthodontics on 13 July 2022.The program started with introduction by Dr.RuchiSaini, Reader, Orthodontics and lamp lightening followed by Lecture on Thermoforming Technology by Dr. Girish Narayan, Product Head, Scheu Dental and the live demonstration of making different appliances using thermoforming technolgy. Later, post graduate students of different departments and faculty members individually prepare extensive range of different appliances like retainers, expansion appliance, mouth guard, positioners, indirect bonding labial and lingual, OSA appliance, Fluoride tray, space maintainers, Surgical splints, TMJ splints, Custom impression trays, template for implants, bruxism splints and many more using Biostar and Ministar.The occasion was graced by various dignitaries- Dr Vikram Gandhi, Secretary, DMET, Dr Nidhi Aggarwal, Vice Principal, Dr.Gaurav Mittal, Director PG Studies and HOD's of all the Departments and faculty members.
