DAMON COURSE

1^st Module – 23^rd March 2022

Time is changing fast and thus we all need to upgrade and  give the best of treatment to our patients.

With this vision to improve treatment standards and quality of life under the leadership of Dr.Vikram Gandhi, Secretary DMET, and with the guidance of Dr.Shalu Rai mam (Principal & HOD, OMR), Department of Orthodontics and DentofacialOrthopedics has started the Damon course consisted of 4 modules for the Post graduate students of the department.

The modules consists of hands on training  on patients guided by Dr. C S Ramchandra Sir.

The first module was held on 23rd March 2022. The course mentor, Dr. C S Ramchandra Sir was introduced by Dr Achint Juneja, Professor & Head, Department of Orthodontics. First Module started with the lecture on "Basic Damon physiology and the science behind it" and later on all the patients undergoing treatment with Damon System were reviewed by Dr. C S Ramchandra sir and 4 new patients were started by the PG students and faculty members.
