Institute of Dental Studies and Technologies ( IDST ) was founded by Late Padmashree Dr. L.K Gandhi in the year 2000. IDST Dental College is approved by the Dental Council of India and is affiliated to Atal Bihari Vajpayee Univeristy, lucknow.
Located in Modinagar, a town in Ghaziabad district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, it is surrounded by the lush green areas and farms. It's just 43 km from Ghaziabad city, 85 km from New Delhi. It is a part of National Capital Region.

Our News and Recent Happenings
The Institute of Dental Studies & Technologies (IDST), Modinagar, celebrated International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm and zeal on 21st June 2026 at 7:00 AM. The programme was organized in the institute premises to promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being among students and faculty members.
A large number of BDS and MDS students participated enthusiastically in the event. The yoga session was conducted under the able guidance of Yoga Trainer Mr. Anirudh Acharya, who demonstrated and explained the importance of various yoga postures and breathing techniques. Participants actively performed different yoga asanas, pranayama, and meditation exercises, gaining valuable insights into the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.
The event emphasized the significance of incorporating yoga into daily life for maintaining physical fitness, reducing stress, and enhancing concentration. The students displayed remarkable enthusiasm and discipline throughout the session and appreciated the opportunity to learn and practice yoga under expert supervision.
The programme concluded with a message encouraging everyone to adopt yoga as a regular practice for overall health and wellness. The celebration was a grand success, reflecting the institute’s commitment to promoting holistic health and well-being among its students and faculty.

The hostel residents of IDST came together to celebrate the joyous occasion of Janmashtami with devotion and enthusiasm! Both UG and PG students participated, making the event a truly vibrant and memorable one.
The celebration included beautiful decorations, devotional songs, and the traditional dahi handi event, which filled the atmosphere with excitement and energy. The unity and spirit of the hostel community shone brightly as everyone came together to honor the birth of Lord Krishna.
A heartfelt thanks to all the residents who took part and made this Janmashtami celebration a special one.
